Calle Ocho is a Bay Area charanga band specializing in Cuban son, danzon & jazz for your dancing and listening pleasure. We play classic Cuban songs by the likes of Arsenio Rodriguez, Miguel Matamoros, and Orquesta Aragon, as well as Latin jazz numbers by Oscar Hernandez, Clare Fischer, and Eddie Palmieri, to name a few. Since 2016, we have played 40 public performances as well as many private gigs. Our fans include lots of Latin music aficionados and skilled dancers, as well as dear friends and family.
